What is a Chamber?A Chamber of Commerce is a Non Profit organization filled with members and volunteers that share a common mission. Chambers traditionally are led in support by the area businesses and consumers.
What is our mission? The Kingwood Chamber of Commerce was chartered in Fall of 2003 to have a voice in meeting the needs of our community by encouraging healthy commercial activity in the Kingwood area.
As a group, we seek to be the front door to our beautiful community while encouraging consumers to 'shop at home before they roam'. We strive to support a desirable place to live, work, AND shop.
The Chamber communicates available services and activities to the community and remains dedicated to opportunities for potential business growth in the Kingwood area.
Who do we serve? The Kingwood Chamber serves a unique business and residential community filled with beauty, business activity, talent, pride, and good-hearted people. We serve YOU!
Why Join the Kingwood Chamber?A chamber membership is an investment you can make to enhance your business's success and ensure the economic future of our area. Here are some key points to consider how a chamber can support you.
How do we impact the community? As an 'Information Center" the Kingwood Chamber of Commerce will be the single call that tells you all about the Kingwood area and scheduled events. Our 'calendar of events' is the one place to turn for publicizing your special event or for finding out about other events in our area.
How can you get involved?Monthly socials allow you to meet and get to know the members. Exciting committees will let you roll your sleeves up and get to work making a difference in your community.
Committees let you use your specialized talents and interests while networking with other volunteers. Here are a few committees we offer today.
Special projects are identified throughout the year and pursued to target specific areas of our city. Projects like cleanup campaigns, branding certain retail areas, and promoting our business sector through public event.
